FERRY COUNTY, Wash. - Sunday evening the Antique Car and Truck Museum (south of Curlew) took delivery of a restored/vintage1927 Fire Truck from one of rock's all-time greats. Museum curator Larry Lembcke and Jack Lembcke received the truck on Sunday evening.  The restored truck is on loan to the museum (until at least 2014) from Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder and his family. The truck was a gift to the Vedder family from actor Sean Penn.  "I hope this historic truck will complement the museum's collection and result in even more tourism for Ferry County, a county rich with culture and drowning in mystique," Vedder said. more on Vedder: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Vedder detail on museum here: http://www.ferrycounty.com/activities/museums/antique-car-and-truck-museum/
