KHQ.COM - There hasn't been a whole lot of change in the forecast for the last week or so as we continue to sit under a very large arctic low pressure system. That will once again keep us cooler than normal and provide the chance for more valley rain and rain/snow mix showers, and mountain snow showers.

Partly sunny to start the day today with increasing clouds throughout. Chance of some showers by late afternoon, early evening. At this point accumulating snowfall today and tonight looks to stay above 2500 feet but once again areas in the Okanogan Highlands and Northern Interior could see some snow today and tonight, depending on elevation. This cool, showery pattern looks to continue through the weekend.

Today: Partly sunny, becoming mostly cloudy. NE 5-10mph. High: 45°   Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Snow levels at 2500 feet. Mostly rain/snow mix in valley's. Snow above 2500'. Low: 33°   Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy. Scattered rain/snow mix showers during the day (mainly east of Spokane/Cd'A) High: 44°   -Blake
