Medical Condition Suspected Cause Of Man Entering A Stranger's Home

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - A Spokane Valley woman was in for a shock when she arrived home Thursday afternoon and found a stranger passed out on her bed.

It happened around 3:30pm in the 19000 block of E. Cane Circle.

When deputies arrived they found a white male in his 30's with blood on his mouth passed out in the homeowners bed.

Deputies also found a diabetic kit on him and immediately called paramedics who were able to stabilize him. He had no idea where he was.

He was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

Deputies believe the incident was caused by a medical condition as the intruder had no intention of burglarizing the home.

He was charged with one count of Criminal Trespass.

One longtime deputy on scene says situations like this are rare but do happen and that the homeowner did everything right to keep this from becoming any worse.
