PULLMAN, Wash. – Pullman Police arrested a man early Saturday morning, after they say he pulled a loaded gun, cocked it, and pointed it at members of a WSU fraternity.
It all happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday outside the Phi Delta Theta house on Colorado St. Police say the suspect, later identified as Ronald Robinson, 28, of Republic, WA, was drunk and walking down the street.
When he got to the fraternity house, they say he started yelling at members of the fraternity who were outside on the second story balcony. One of the victims told KHQ the suspect pulled a gun from his waistband, cocked it, and pointed it at them from just a few feet away.
Luckily, there was a policeman patrolling on foot nearby who heard their cries for help, rushed over, and reportedly tackled the suspect. Nobody was hurt and no shots were actually fired.
Pullman Police confirm to KHQ they found a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic Glock on Robinson. He was arrested and booked into the Whitman County Jail on charges of unlawfully displaying a weapon, unlawfully arming a weapon, and carrying a loaded pistol. Robinson bonded out the next day, and is expected in court.
They say he does not have a concealed weapons permit, and was apparently a stranger to the members of the fraternity.
