Long Time Spokane Hotel Closes; EVERYTHING Inside For SALE!

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Trade Winds hotel in downtown Spokane has closed its doors. Now everything is for sale. Starting on Thursday, October 18 until the end of the month the owner is getting rid of every bed, chair, mirror, or whatever you can take out of the rooms.

The 50-year lease of the motel ends at the end of the year, and the owner decided to shut the doors a couple months early. The hotel has been a fixture of downtown Spokane since the early 1960's, but the owner no longer has a desire to run the hotel and decided to not renew the lease.

For the past decade, the rooms had mostly been rented out to tenants living there month-to-month. They have all since been evicted.

The items are being sold in a yard-sale type fashion, and almost everything is negotiable. The owner is also just giving away the beds and other furniture to anyone that wants them.
