KHQ WEATHER AUTHORITY: The Start Of Another Dry Period Begins

This morning there is a very weak cold front passing over us...but it's not bringing much in the way of moisture. Maybe just a few light showers, if anything, to the northern interior. As it passes winds will kick up briefly in the northern mountains and valleys but that's about it. After that cold front passes, high pressure will start to build back into the region...setting up another dry period through the weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs mostly in the mid 70s for today...and warming up each day until Friday.   Today: Mostly sunny, patchy smoke. S wind 6-8mph. High: 75°   Tomorrow: Mostly sunny. Calm winds. High: 76°   -Blake
