Overnight: ...At times, "Thunder Roars" until late tonight...
Sunday: By morning, it's quiet & cloudy before midday rain showers dampen the region (and some summer outings) from Spokane into N ID. Showers & a few T-Storms may last well into the afternoon…Low/High 58°/76° Monday: Wake up & travel to mostly sunny skies, seasonably summer-like weather, and light winds...Be ready for overnight showers...Low/High 52°/77°Tuesday: Mostly cloudy & breezy as the final disturbance of the week delivers showery weather with a few T-Storms during the day....Clearing skies for the evening sets the stage for a festive 4th of July…Low/High 58°/73°FYI: You'll have an extra second to enjoy today (June 30th). Today will feature the addition of a "leap second" to account for Earth's rotational sloppiness. At present the difference between 24 hours of atomic time and the Earth's rotation time is about two milliseconds. This minor difference accumulates on a daily basis, but after a couple years, the cumulative difference approaches one second. World timekeepers stop their atomic clocks for precisely one second and let the Earth "catch up"...Ta-Dah...thus "coordinating" the two timescales."Happy Hoopfest!" Dave
