Overnight: Snow for the evening & overnight…expect a few inches by the morning…Low/High 25°/34°
Sunday: Most kiddies should be waking up with a fresh 2"-4" coat of snow to entertain them…It's a mostly cloudy day with a scattered snow showers mainly in the Idaho Panhandle. "Get ready for the next robust storm!" The first flakes from an even heavier round of snow is expected to arrive during the evening (Driving may be very wicked Monday)…Low/High 26°/32°
Monday: Heavy snow & blowing snow during the morning…Accumulations of 1" per hour are possible early, with 6" piling up by noon in some areas…For a brief period near midday, snow might transition into rain & an absolute slushy mess for Spokane & Kootenai Counties. In the Palouse, this storm may bring a few pockets of treacherous freezing rain/icing conditions during the early morning…Winds to 40mph are likely…Low/High 30°/37°
Pass travel will be dangerous across the Cascades…be advised that 7"-10" of snow is forecast to fall overnight w/ another 12"-18" Sunday afternoon & night. Expect 4"-6" in the Idaho passes tonight & another 9"-12" Sunday night.. Prepared for wintry driving conditions during this period.
