KHQ WEATHER AUTHORITY: Another Great Weekend Of Sunshine Ahead!

BLAKE JENSEN: A very minor system moved through our area Thursday that brought only increased clouds to our area, that has now moved on to our east. Coming in behind it...the two words we always love to hear...high pressure. That means, as we head towards the weekend that high pressure will continue to build, which will warm our temperatures up each day until a VERY hot day on Sunday...could be getting close to triple digits. Not quite that hot today, however, in fact a very pleasant day in store for us. Once again looking for clear skies, high temperatures today going to top out in the mid 80s, with calm winds coming out of the northeast. If you're not a fan of really hot temperatures, I'd say get out and enjoy the day today!   Friday: Clearing skies, calm NE winds and High 84°   Saturday: Clear, blue skies. Continue to warm up. High 90°   Sunday: Get ready for a hot one! High 97°   -Blake Jensen
