KHQ EXCLUSIVE: Local Firefighter Delivers His Own Baby In Garage

SPOKANE, Wash. - A local father delivered his own baby in the garage!

Tuesday night Rebecca Wells was going through labor when she started to realize the baby was coming much faster than she expected.

Her husband, Justin, rushed her out to their car, but by that point, it was too late to leave. They called an ambulance.

Luckily Justin is a firefighter and has been trained to deliver babies in case of an emergency. He took control of the situation and before crews arrived, he delivered his own daughter!

Elizabeth Wells was safely born 8 pounds and 7 ounces. Both parents say they're just relieved the child is healthy.
