Jury Finds Shellye Stark Guilty Of Murder

SPOKANE, Wash. - For the second time in three years, Shellye Stark has been found guilty of murdering her husband.

A jury returned a guilty verdict Friday on Stark's First Degree murder charge, meaning that once again this jury didn't buy stark's claim of self-defense.

Prosecutors say that in 2007 she killed her husband for the insurance money.

Defense lawyers argued her husband abused her, and forced her into prostitution.

Stark's first conviction was thrown out in 2009 because of a legal technicality.
