Help Not Wanted: Woman Speaks Out About Oriental Spas

SPOKANE, Wash - She thought she was responding to a simple job ad for a Spa Attendant at Oriental Spa North in Spokane. But when she showed up to the business at 827 E. Francis several months ago, "Rebecca" said men asked her to give much than a massage.

"Rebecca" ran out of there when she realized what was happening. After narrowly escaping an unwanted sexual encounter by a stranger, "Rebecca's" mother reached out to KHQ to reveal what she believed was the dark truth about these day spas. Was her story a one-time encounter or were these day spas actually fronts for widespread prostitution rings?

KHQ investigated.
