Gas Line Break On Spokane's South Hill

KHQ.COM - Spokane firefighters responded to a gas line break at 29th & Latawah on Spokane's South Hill Friday afternoon. Crews on scene tell us it was started by construction workers who were digging around sidewalks.

We're told the gas line was six inches long with a lot of pressure.

The line was broken around 12:15pm.

Between 50 and 150 people in the area were evacuated. They have now been let back into their homes.

So far no injuries have been reported.
