Four Car Crash In Grant County Kills One

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. - A car crash in Grant County late Friday night killed one man and injured two more.

Washington State Patrol says the collision happened about three miles west of Soap Lake on Highway 28. Two vehicles were heading eastbound when one of them stopped for a left turn and was struck by the other from behind. This collision set off a chain reaction as the victim car was pushed into oncoming westbound traffic.

The driver of the car that was pushed into oncoming traffic, 85-year-old Cyrus Broers of Ephrata, was killed in the crash. Two other people were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are unknown.

The Washington State Patrol is still investigating and says charges are pending.
