Dispute In Spokane Valley Results In Man Being Cut With Box Knife

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley Police were called to the Rustic Villa Apartments in the 300 block of South Elizabeth Monday evening for a reported stabbing.

When they arrived they found a victim with multiple gashes to his abdomen and face. Police were able to identify a suspect and locate him in a nearby apartment. We are told he is being cooperative with investigators.The investigation into the incident is ongoing, but police say the incident began as a dispute between the suspect and victim, who apparently live together in one of the apartments.

Police were able to recover a box cutter which they believe is the weapon.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.

The suspect will most likely face 2nd Degree Assault charges.
