SPOKANE, Wash. – Police responded to a 911 call of a shooting in the 4000 block of North Garfield Road around 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning. The man who lived at the residence, 52-year-old Mark A. Cavazos, was in the home when police arrived. Cavazos was taken downtown for questioning and is in custody on second-degree murder charges.
Police say one man was dead inside the home when they arrived on scene. At this time police are still trying to determine exactly what happened.
