KHQ.COM - KHQ has learned the name of a man who died in an ATV crash 9 miles north of Newport. He's identified as 38-year-old Newport resident Jack Dalton. Dalton was not wearing a helmet when he crashed near the intersection of Coyote Trail and Web Rd.
The Washington State Patrol reports that he was found dead up their arrival. WSP also says Dalton had alcohol in his system. He apparently struck a cable over the roadway that cause the crash.
