Fourth of July – Riverfront Park – Independence Day festival. Spokane Jazz Orchestra, free Children's Meadow by Numerica Credit Union, First Night Rising Stars Stage, fireworks display at dusk by Larry H. Miller dealerships. Nonsmoking event, except in designated areas; no animals allowed; adult beverage gardens. Riverfront Park, 507 N. Howard St. Free admission/viewing of fireworks; $8/reserved seating for fireworks. Fourth of July – Coeur d'Alene – Parade begins at 11 a.m. at 15th and Sherman followed by a daylong festival in Coeur d'Alene City Park. Fireworks over the lake at dusk. (208) 292-1635.
Priest Lake Fourth of July – All-day ice cream social and celebration at the Coolin Civic Center followed by fireworks at dusk at Hills Resort at Luby Bay or Grandview Resort at Reeder Bay on the Lake.

Silver Valley Independence Day Celebration – Firecracker 5K Fun Run registration at 7:30 a.m., race begins at 9 a.m. at Kellogg Middle School, 800 Bunker Ave. Elks Pancake breakfast from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the lodge. Daylong activities follow. Fireworks at dusk at Silver Mountain, viewable from downtown Kellogg.
Fourth of July in Pullman – Family events, children's activities, food, vendors, live entertainment beginning at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks at dusk. Free transportation to the park provided by Pullman Transit beginning at 4:20 p.m. For a list of park-and-ride locations, visit www.pullmanchamber.com. Alcohol-free event.
