AMBER ALERT OVER; TEEN FOUND ALIVE

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - A missing 16-year-old Tacoma girl has been found OK.    Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum says tips led officers to a Tacoma house about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday where they found Briana Troyer and Terrence D. Powell asleep.    Fulghum says the girl will be returned to her family. Her father is Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer.    Investigators will determine if Powell did anything wrong. He's a Level 1 sex offender who left a Tacoma bowling alley Tuesday with the girl. She's a special education student with a mental capacity of a 9-year-old.

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Police say a missing 16-year-old girl last seen with a sex offender at a Tacoma bowling alley is the daughter of Pierce County sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer.    Police spokesman Mark Fulghum says Briana Troyer was at Tower Bowling Lanes with members of the Wilson High School bowling team and left about  there at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday with 21-year-old  Terrence D. Powell, a Level 1 sex offender - the lowest level.    Fulghum issued an Amber Alert early Wednesday for the girl. It describes her as a special education student with a mental age of about 9-year-old. Troyer is white, 5-foot-2, 105 pounds. She was wearing a Wilson High School bowling shirt and hooded Wilson sweat shirt and blue jeans.    Powell is black, 5-foot-9, 220 pounds with short hair dyed blond.(Copyright 2012 The Associated Press.
