62-Year-Old Woman Assaulted On The Lower South Hill, Suspect On The Loose

SPOKANE, Wash. - On September 6, 2012, just after 5pm, Spokane Police patrol officers responded to a burglary near 900 E. 8th Ave. The female victim said a man knocked on her door, but no one was there when she answered. 

She then saw the suspect walking out of her dining room, carrying her camera.  When she confronted the suspect, he hit her in the head. He knocked her to the ground and continued to assault her repeatedly. The victim sustained significant injuries and has been treated at a hospital.

Police have not been able to locate the suspect, described as a white male, 20's, medium build, 5'10", wearing a grey shirt and tan shorts. The suspect had sandy colored shoulder length hair, very straight.
