2 Men Tased During Fight In Airway Heights

AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Officers and deputies from multiple agencies responded to a large fight at Northern Quest Casino Saturday night.  The fight started at Impulse, a nightclub inside the casino, when security had to call 911. While responding officers were dealing with a few people fighting, they found themselves surrounded by more and more people. Feeling threatened, the officers called out a "Code 99" over the radio, which means they need help immediately. Police from Airway Heights, the Kalispel Tribe, Spokane and Spokane County all responded quickly to help.  In the process of getting the crowd under control, two men were tased and one of those men was sent to the hospital. Police arrested one person for obstructing a police officer.  Northern Quest Casino says no one else was injured and the nightclub never shut down.
