KHQ.COM - On Thursday a bizarre windstorm rolled through the town of Omak, Washington. The wind was so bad that some of our viewers that it was a tornado! We checked with the National Weather Service and they say that it wasn't a tornado, just really strong winds.
Friday: Isolated morning showers give way to sunshine, but, BREEZY winds...with gust expected to 25mph and cooler temps. 78°/56° (YELLOW...for winds) Things are looking good for most of the Holiday weekend, with warmer than average temps and lots of sunshine. Labor Day Monday begins a transition into a showery weather pattern that will remain for much of this next week.
