KHQ.COM - A man faces Vehicular Assault for injuring his passenger in a rollover in Pend Oreille County, according to authorities.
The Washington State Patrol says the driver was under the influence when it happened. The crash happened on Highway 2 about 3 miles south of Newport on Thursday night.
There's no word on what caused the crash but both troopers and Pend Oreille Sheriff's Deputies say the driver of the car was intoxicated and they're charging that person with vehicular assault..
