UPDATE: On Thursday afternoon a 30-year-old woman fell about 30-feet down a cliff in the area of W. Cliff Ave. and Stevens St. near downtown Spokane. 911 dispatchers sent a technical rescue team from Spokane Fire Department and two ambulances from AMR.
A witness was able to give the exact location of the incident which helped crews respond to the scene quicker.
The victim was put in a metal cage/basket and was lowered down the hill to safety. The terrain was very steep.
The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to Sacred Heart with unknown injuries.
