UPDATE: Pizza Rita In N. Spokane Robbed At Gunpoint; 100 Free Pizzas Being Offered For Reward

UPDATE: Spokane police continue their search for two men who robbed the Pizza Rita on North Wall Wednesday night.

The owner, Brian Dickman is now offering up a tasty reward.

"I'd like for somebody who they know to brag and say they may be my friend but I'd rather have 100 free large pizzas," said Dickman.

Pizza Rita's will give 100 free large any topping pizza to anyone who provides information leading to the conviction of either of the robbers.

According to police, two men walked in to the Wall Street and Rowan Avenue location around 11 p.m. and showed the cashier a gun and demanded money.

Police said the men took an unknown amount of money and ran off.

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: Spokane Police received a robbery call at 11pm Wednesday night (January 9, 2013), from an employee at the Pizza Rita, located at 5511 N. Wall.

When officers arrived, the suspects had already fled. The two store employees gave limited suspect descriptions; they were not harmed. The employees recounted two suspects came into the store, wearing masks, demanded money and pointed a gun at them. The suspects took the money and fled on foot.

Earlier in the day around 3:30, there was a report of an armed robbery attempt at Hot Toddy's Coffee located at 101 W. Francis. A barista reported that two males pulled up in a maroon colored Nissan or Mazda type vehicle, displayed a handgun and demanded money. When the barista refused to hand over any cash, the suspect took off.

Detectives are working to determine if the two incidents are related.  The suspects are described as two white males, wearing blue jackets. They were last seen near Rowan and Joseph. Please call Crimestoppers at (800) 222-TIPS with any information.

Additionally, according to Pizza Rita, they are offering a reward of 100 free large pizzas, with any number of toppings, for anyone offering information which leads to the arrest and conviction of either of the two suspects.
