Take A Peek Behind The Scenes At The WCC Tournament

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Aspiring student journalists take their place on media row at the WCC Tournament.

One student from each WCC university makes up the WCC Digital Team. The content they produce is for the WCC website.

Dan Garrity, a broadcast professor at Gonzaga University, started the program nine years ago, but only for GU students. About five years ago, the WCC asked him to expand the program to include every school in the conference.

Some students joins the Digital Team with more experience than others, depending on which school they are representing. Garrity says that does not matter, all skill levels are welcome.

The WCC funds this project, taking care of the students room and board for the tournament.
