SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - Spokane County detectives say that 39 year-old Brian Sheldon has been arrested for four bank robberies in the last few months. Using surveillance photos from the Banner Bank on North Market Street, Wells Fargo Bank in Spokane Valley and the Bank of Fairfield in Rockford to identify Sheldon as the man responsible. Detectives say they found similarities between all of the cases. In them, the suspect would walk in, deliver a note to a bank teller demanding money, and then driving off. Sheldon was described by eyewitnesses as wearing a straw hat during a robbery during the North Market Banner Bank heist. Sheldon has previously been convicted of seven different bank robberies.
