Spokane Valley Business Owner Arrested For Assault With Sexual Motivation

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane County Sexual Assault Detectives have been investigating multiple allegations of sexually motivated assaults by a Spokane Valley business owner. On Saturday, December 3, 2012, 76-year-old Monte Masingale, who owns a car dealership near the 18100 block of East Appleway Avenue, was cited and released on two counts of Assault 4th Degree with Sexual Motivation.

The arrest was the result of two separate incidents that took place in December of 2011 and May of 2012. Both adult female victims claimed Masingale engaged in inappropriate and unwanted touching when they responded to job postings at the business.

Detectives believe there are other victims who have experienced the same type of criminal activity by Masingale and the investigation is ongoing.
