Spokane Police Investigating Fatal Stabbing

SPOKANE, Wash. - At around 11:57pm, Spokane Police Officers received a call that a male had been stabbed near the intersection of Nelson and Wabash in Northeast Spokane.  Officers arrived to find a man had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. He has not been identified. 

After taking statements from witnesses, police were able to identify a suspect and eventually located him a short distance from where the victim was found. The suspect has not been identified.

Police are still investigating and as soon as we get any new information, we will update this story.
