SPOKANE, Wash. - City street crews are out improving street conditions this morning. Street officials report one to two inches of snow in most places within the City limits.
Crews are de-icing at intersections and on hills on arterials, with a current focus on the hills on the lower South Hill. Crews are doing some plowing, primarily on the upper South Hill and far North Side, where snow accumulations are greater.
Night crews stayed late to spread de-icer before the snow began, again focusing on intersections and hills. The city is asking that people to slow down and drive for conditions this morning.
More information on the City's snow removal plans is available on the City's web site at www.spokanecity.org.
