SPOKANE, Wash. - Kathleen Cavender is a painter who is all about the Inland Northwest. She grew up here, lives here now, and loves to paint all of the beautiful landscapes this area has to offer.Cavender started painting when she was 10 years old, and now paints for a living. Doing so, she has continued the family tradition. Cavender makes the forth generation of professional painters in her family. Not only does Cavender sell her work and make a living doing so, she is a very successful painter. She has had her work shown all over the world. From here in Spokane, to Seattle, to Portland, to New York, to Washington DC, and even across the Atlantic to Florence, Italy! Cavender is going is going to be selling her pieces on Sunday, September 23rd out of her studio behind her home.
