WASHINGTON (AP) - The country's largest producer of organic peanut butter will have to prove that its facilities are clean enough to reopen. The Food and Drug Administration suspended the registration of Sunland Inc., Monday, after the New Mexico company's repeated food safety violations over several years. Sunland had planned to reopen today, after shutting down because of a September salmonella outbreak. Sunland products were carried by Trader Joe's and other grocery store chains.
