KHQ.COM - A Spokane firefighter is recovering after getting hurt while putting out a fire in N. Spokane. It happened on Sunday night on W. Westmont. The firefighter, who hasn't been identified, was sent to the hospital after a part of the roof fell on his head. His injuries are non-life threatening.
Crews tell us the house had too much smoke and water damage for anyone to stay in the home. A barbecue may be to blame for the cause.
