Social media can be used for many things. Interacting with friends, saying hello to your favorite music icon, connecting with old family members. But selling your dog? Yeah. That happens too. But it recently happened from an unlikely source.
You would think that being an NBA player, you wouldn't need Twitter and your 55,000 followers to find a home for your bulldog, but that's exactly what Kendrick Perkins did recently.
In a series of tweets, the NBA star basically said that he had to get rid of his 1-year-old bulldog because he was too big to be around his youngest child. Kendrick told his followers that he originally bought the dog for $3,000, but was selling him for $1,500. A price he said was negotiable.
Well, after posting some pictures, it didn't take long for someone to snag the puppy.
He posted on Wednesday at 7:41pm "Do anybody wants him seriously he needs to be gone by tomorrow." Well it took only 27 minutes after that tweet for he to post: "They dog sold yall."
Some are saying this a clever use of social media, while others say it's disregard for the well-being of his puppy. What do you think?
