AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Metals Fabrication Company has seen a huge increase in business. In fact, Todd Mathison who is the Operation Manager at the company has hired 40 people in the past year.

Last year, he had a total of about 60 employees.

"This year has been a really good year for us. I have guys working over time all year round for us. Everyone likes a little extra money. It's a really good problem to have," Mathison said.

They have been so busy because they have gotten construction bids for major projects in Seattle, Portland, and the Inland Northwest.

Mathison added, "It's been busy and its going to be busy for the next couple months."Which means Mathison will keep hiring.

"Right now I am looking for 5-10 more, I can use fitter and welders. We just hired 2 more today, I hired a guy for nights, another laborer for nights," Mathison said.
