KHQ WEATHER AUTHORITY: Welcome To October! Get Ready To Start Feeling It

BLAKE JENSEN: Good morning! What a great last weekend of September we had and a pretty nice day on tap for the first of October. Still some weak high pressure over us today will keep us dry with temperatures in the mid to upper 70's and low 80's...but things start to change after that. Starting late tonight and into tomorrow the first of several little systems will enter the Inland Northwest. Bringing with it much cooler temperatures and gusty wind conditions by tomorrow afternoon. Models aren't showing lots of moisture with this cold front but might be enough to provide some snow showers in the highest elevations. Enjoy the heat today...by Wednesday we could be seeing high temperatures in the 50s and low 60s.   Today: Mostly sunny, calm winds, NICE day! High: 77°   Tomorrow: Partly cloudy, gusty winds by noon. SW 10-20, G30 mph. High: 64°   Wednesday: Mostly sunny, COOL. High: 58-61°   -Blake
