Blake Jensen: We're at the end of June and there is a possibility of some areas getting up to an INCH of rain throughout the day today. Around Spokane expect to see anywhere from a half to three quarters of an inch of rain. This all because that low pressure will be passing right over us today bringing heavy rain at times, thunderstorms and gusting winds.
Also MUCH cooler temperatures, about 20 degrees cooler than just yesterday. The good news, as long as we can get through the day today, the rest of the week looks nice. Sun should be back out tomorrow.
Today: Mostly Cloudy, T-Storms, Steady Rain and gusty winds. SW 10-20 mph, G-25. High: 57°
Tonight: Lingering showers until about midnight, conditions then start to improve. Much cooler however...Low 43°
Tomorrow: Much nicer weather...Mostly Sunny skies, calm winds and highs back in the 70s. High 72°
Also of note: Flood warnings and advisories in effect for Boundary, Bonner and Kootenai Counties. Some areas to the north could see up to an inch of rain today, causing rivers and lakes to rise. Most of the flood warnings expire by tomorrow morning.
