A medical clinic is currently recruiting for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP). Position will be working with Naturopath and Massage Therapist to provide integrated medicine to patients. Position is full time, part time or as a contractor. Must be clinically excellent with strong patient and colleague communication skills, energized by change, personal growth, and innovations. Must be Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP): an ARNP is a registered nurse prepared in a formal education program to assume an expanded role in providing health care services.

This practice utilizes in depth knowledge of physical assessment and management of illnesses or conditions within the ARNPs scope of practice. This practice includes collaboration with our dynamic management and licensed healthcare team. The ARNP will work directly with the medical director on issues related to patient care management.  Clinic works with chronic pain management and primary care patients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have a Master of Science in Nursing from accredited school of nursing

- Must have completion of an approved ARNP program.

- Must be a Registered as RN and ARNP in the State of Washington.

- Must have Prescriptive authority from Washington State.

- Must have Washington RN license required.

- Must be Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) licensed under chapter 18.79 RCW.

- Must be able to work with diverse clientele.

- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.  Clinic tests for illegal and non legally recommended substances.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- (2) two years primary care experience preferred.

HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:

12 to 40 hours a week. Usually Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday and Sunday.   Exact schedule to be discussed at the time of interview.  

SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:

- Must be a Washington naturopathic physician licensed under chapter 18.36A RCW. Washington's laws require graduates of naturopathic medical schools to pass rigorous board examinations in order to qualify for licensure. Washington NDs must also complete 20 hours per year of continuing education training in order to maintain their license.

These positions are for six months, and candidates must be available to work out of the Dutch Harbor, Alaska facility beginning in early January. Candidates must also have good communication skills and be able to lift 50 lbs., live in a multi-cultural environment and pass a pre-employment work authorization check and drug screen.

Responsibilities include:

- Pan and grade a variety of seafood, including halibut, cod, Pollock and crab

- Work in freezer or outdoors on loading dock

- Gather roe basket, weigh and tally

- Case up and label boxes

- Hose down processing equipment

- Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Able to work in Alaska beginning in early January

- Able to lift 50 lbs.

- Able to work in cold and wet conditions

- Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers

- Able to live in a multi-cultural environment
