Eastern State Hospital is a psychiatric hospital located in
Eastern Washington, approximately 16 miles southwest of Spokane, the urban
center of the Inland Northwest and surrounded by a huge outdoor recreation
area. Eastern State Hospital is
currently recruiting for a Psychiatrist 4 to provide psychiatric care to an
assigned caseload of patients on the Adult, Geropsychiatric and Forensic
Services Unit. Duties include but not limited to: Perform a comprehensive
diagnostic assessment of the patient based upon clinical presentation and
review of available history as well as a synthesis of the assessments of
Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation and Internal/Family Medicine
to be used as the basis for formulating a needs-based written treatment
plan. Certify medical necessity of
hospital level of care to conduct periodic recertification of medical
necessity. Appropriately document in
the patient's medical record and complete billing encounter forms, discharge
summaries, and other documents timely.
Prescribe appropriate medication and other treatment modalities to
address identified patient needs. Admit
patients to the hospital as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Must have a
license to practice medicine and surgery in the State of Washington.
Must have successfully graduated from a psychiatric
residency program.
Must be willing and able to obtain sufficient continuing
medical education to maintain current competency in the position held.
Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the
following qualifications at the time of referral
Be willing
to comply with ESH's health screening requirements by undergoing an initial and
annual health screening.
Comply with
union shop requirements.
Be eligible to
work in a facility receiving Medicare funds.
Be able to
perform all physical duties of the position.
Articulate
understanding of the Multimodal Habilitative Mental Health and Positive
Behavior Support models of care developed for people with intellectual
disabilities and mental illness. Implement intervention strategies outlined in
each individual patient's Behavior Support Plan.
Hold a valid
driver's license when operating a state or privately owned vehicle on official
state business and comply with Washington State's liability laws when operating
a privately owned vehicle on official state business.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Be successfully credentialed through the process identified
in the Eastern State Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws.
Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE :
8:00-4:15 typically with potential for on call, evenings and
weekends on occasion. Near public transportation
SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:

position. This job requires three years
of documented mechanical experience or training directly related to job duties
for heavy duty truck and semi trailer repair.
Duties are to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair trucks, forklifts,
heavy equipment, light duty vehicles, semi-trailers, and other related transportation
equipment. This includes repair and
replacement of tires, welding, fabrication, electrical, air brakes, and
hydraulics. Travel and maintenance tasks will be completed from a company
service truck. Successful candidates
will be competent to safely operate yard hostler and other heavy duty vehicles
on company property. Successful
candidate will need to pass a written and a hands-on technical skills

a Sanitation Porter/ Lumper to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary work
environment to company standards with various cleaning equipment. Duties
include general housekeeping inside and outside of the warehouse facilities;
inspecting, cleaning, and reporting pest control activity to sanitation lead
person; using electric or manual pallet truck to relocate product in warehouse
while cleaning product slots; and moving all refuse to designated trash pick-up
areas. Responsibilities also include follow up on the Recycle Program
initiative as well as restroom/ break room cleaning, cleaning outside gutters,
maintaining a safe environment in inclement weather, and operating a floor
sweeper/ scrubber machine in warehouse as directed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
