Grant County Detectives Investigating Shooting Death Of 60-Year-Old Man

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM THE GRANT COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: MOSES LAKE, Wash. (22MAR2013) – Grant County Detectives continue to investigate the Mar. 9 shooting homicide of 60-year-old Steve Hughes in Moses Lake.

Deputies responded around 9:15 p.m. that night to a report of an assault, and found Hughes on the floor inside his Clink Road home. Hughes sustained a gunshot wound and died a short time later at Samaritan Hospital.

Detectives have interviewed many people, but still would like any help from the public.
