Former New Orleans Saint Steve Gleason Taken To Hospital Monday Night

NEW ORLEANS, LA - Former New Orleans Saint Steve Gleason, who was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, was taken to the hospital from the Saints game against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday night according to Saints spokesman Doug Miller.

Gleason became unresponsive in the first quarter of the game and was taken to Ochsner hospital, where he is currently alert and resting according to his wife Michele Gleason.Gleason attended Gleason Gras yesterday in New Orleans to raise money for ALS.
