OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM THE CONNELL POLICE DEPT: On Thursday at around 8pm Connell Police responded to a report of a possible shooting at 401 E. Elm St. in Connell. Police and medical personnel responded to the scene and found a deceased 30-year-old Hispanic male.
The victim appears to have suffered several gunshot wounds. A suspect in the shooting is 40-year- Julio Cesar Hernandez of Connell. The suspect was last seen driving a 1988 Black Ford Mustang with Washington plates, 011UZQ.
The suspect's last known location has been tracked via cell phone to the Electric City, Washington area. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on the location of the suspect should call 911 or the Connell Police Dept. at 509-234-4141 ASAP. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of immediate family. The incident remains under investigation.
