Burglars Caught On Camera At Deer Park Pawn Shop

DEER PARK, Wash –- While most of us were enjoying Thanksgiving Day with our families, the manager of CC's Pawn in Deer Park was cleaning up after an expensive burglary.

"It's a big blow," manager Tyler Melland told KHQ. Caught on surveillance camera, one person is seen sneaking into the store after throwing a rock through the window, while another person just out of frame throws a box inside to load up the goods in.  In a matter of seconds, laptops and gaming systems worth $3,000 were gone. But that wasn't the end of it; Melland says he was actually robbed twice that night.  After the crooks crashed through the window, a few hours later the store alarms malfunctioned and he was hit again. "$3,000 bucks? I'm a small shop, I have a big competitor just down the street, I have to do everything I can [to stay afloat]," he added.  "This is my shop, you know, this is the only reason I'm not in the food line." Now, he's thankful for every tip that's come in, and says he's gotten about a dozen so far, but still needs help cracking the case. "I've been doing everything, so I'm hoping someone with a badge can do the rest," he told KHQ. Now, a $500 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the burglars behind it.
