Animal Shelter: Both Dogs In 'Chomping Spree' Now Dead

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - A boxer involved in a series of dog attacks last month in Everett was killed last week at the city animal shelter.    The boxer and a pit bull got loose and attacked five people Aug. 25, including a police officer, in what another officer called a "chomping spree." The pit bull died after an electric shock from a stun gun.    The Daily Herald reports (http://is.gd/NY5HTO ) the boxer was declared a dangerous dog, and the owner agreed to let the shelter euthanize it.
