Want to go on a date with Betty White? Here's your chance!

By Kate Stanhope,

Who wouldn't want to go on a date with Betty White? She is, after all, a national treasure.

Fortunately, the Golden Girls and Hot in Cleveland star is auctioning off a date with her to benefit the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles.

In an auction running Dec. 3 through Dec. 10, fans will be able to bid on a dinner date with both White and spcaLA president Madeline Bernstein (bonus!) at one of White's favorite restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area. The winning bidder will also be able to bring three friends along for the fun-filled evening.

However, the sure-to-be magical evening will set someone back at least $1,000 -- the minimum bid on the event. Never let it be said that White is a cheap date. National treasure, remember? For more details on the special opportunity, check out the spcaLA website.

White, 90, has been a longtime advocate for spcaLA.

Are you going to bid on a date with White?
