P. Diddy snags secret role on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Paddy's Pub is getting a visit from P. Diddy.

The rapper and music mogul -- real name: Sean Combs -- will appear on the upcoming season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

FX reveals fall premiere schedule

His role is being kept under wraps, but Diddy is set to begin filming on Monday. Diddy has acted occasionally over the years -- most notably as a convicted murderer in 2001's acclaimed drama Monster's Ball. He's also played  Jonah Hill's on-screen boss in 2010's Get Him to the Greek and most recently appeared in episodes of Hawaii Five-0 and CSI: Miami.

The new season of Sunny is set to premiere on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 10/9c on FX.
