Just days after tweeting that Amanda Bynes should have been jailed for her numerous traffic violations of late, Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York City for fleeing the scene of an accident after she grazed a pedestrian.

Lohan was parking her Porsche SUV outside the Dream Hotel in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood around 2 a.m. Wednesday when her vehicle tapped the knee of a man in his 30s, the NYPD confirmed.

As first reported by TMZ, one of Lohan's passengers got out of the SUV to check it for damage before Lohan and her friends went inside the hotel. Someone called the police while she was inside, and when she exited the hotel about 30 minutes later, she was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Lohan was released with a "desk appearance ticket," meaning she didn't have to post bail before being released from police custody, the NYPD confirmed.

Police say Lindsay Lohan lied about car accident, probation could be revoked

The man she hit was taken to Bellevue Hospital complaining of leg pain, according to the New York Post.

Police said alcohol was not involved in the incident, but it still could be considered a violation of Lohan's probation stemming from a jewelry theft case.

It's not the first time Lohan has had a literal run-in with a pedestrian. In March, she "brushed" a man with her car as she was leaving a club in Los Angeles.
