Hunger Games, Twilight top Teen Choice Awards

The Vampire Diaries was the top television winner at Sunday night's Teen Choice Awards.

Star Ian Somerhalder took home the surfboard for both Choice Male Hottie and Choice TV Actor (sci-fi/fantasy) while his co-star Nina Dobrev won Choice TV Actress (sci-fi/fantasy). Michael Trevino won Choice Male TV Scene Stealer with his on-screen love Candice Accola winning Choice Female TV Scene Stealer. Additionally, the series won for Choice TV Show (sci-fi/fantasy).

Pretty Little Liars was also victorious on the television side with stars Lucy Hale and Ian Harding winning Choice TV Actress and Actor, respectively, in the drama category. Troian Bellisario won Choice Summer Female TV Star and the ABC Family series won Choice TV Drama.

On the film side, The Lucky One, The Hunger Games and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 1 were all big winners.

Fox's Teen Choice Awards were hosted by Demi Lovato and Glee's Kevin McHale.
