Fred Savage welcomes third child

It's a very good week to be a Savage.

On the heels of the news that his baby brother Ben had signed on to star in the Boy Meets World spin-off pilot, Fred Savage and his wife have welcomed their third child, People reports.

Savage, 36, tweeted a photo of the baby boy's hand on Monday, although he would not disclose the name of the new arrival or the official birthdate. Savage and his wife, Jennifer, are also parents to son Oliver Philip, 6, and daughter Lily Aerin, 4.

Since rising to fame as the star of the coming-of-age series The Wonder Years, Savage has stepped behind the camera in recent years. He was a producer on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and has directed episodes of Sunny, Modern Family, 2 Broke Girls and Happy Endings, on which he also made a cameo last year.
