Flavor Flav faces felony assault and battery charges

Flavor Flav was arrested and charged with assault and battery charges, a spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirms to TVGuide.com.

Flav, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., was taken into custody after his fiancée called 911 reporting they had been involved in a physical altercation. She also said that Flav threatened her teenage son with a knife.

The 53-year-old former VH1 reality star was arrested and booked on two charges: assault with a deadly weapon and battery domestic violence. He's currently being held on $23,000 bail, according to TMZ.
